Sara takes pride in being an Art Therapist. Art therapy is an innovative approach that combines creating art with traditional therapeutic interventions. Art therapists are master-level clinicians who use the creative process of making art to help diagnose and treat various psychiatric diagnoses. This enhances the client-therapist relationship and assists the client with learning and developing skills to understand and function successfully in the reality of their life experiences. Art therapists work with their clients to explore and develop all areas of themselves—mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
