Heather Blanton, MMFT, CFLE
Clinic director, licensed marriage and family therapy associate, family life educator, speaker, wife and mother, Heather Blanton is passionate about helping people create a healthy life and successful relationships. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Studies with an emphasis in Individual and Family Development and from Campbellsville University with her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She was instrumental in starting a non-profit group home for pregnant and parenting adolescent girls where she worked for over 15 years counseling, teaching life skills, child development and parenting classes. She believes the capstone to mental and emotional well-being is best understood when spiritual, emotional and physical needs are addressed in therapy. As Clinic Director of our Campbellsville location, she provides counseling for adults, adolescents, children, couples and families. She is certified as a Level 1 Gottman Trained Marriage Therapist and as a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and enjoys working with engaged and married couples. She is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapist, American Association of Christian Counselors, and the National Council on Family Relations through which she is a Certified Family Life Educator.
When Heather has free time she enjoys spending it with her family and friends, cooking, baking, camping, hiking, scrapbooking, traveling and going to her happy place – Siesta Key Beach! Her love for travel has taken her to 28 of the United States and 22 foreign countries. Combining her love of cooking and travel she enjoys spending one night per month cooking an authentic meal from a country around the world and learning about the culture with her family and friends.
