I was born in Louisville and moved here to Hart county when I was 2 years old. I went to Memorial elementary school and graduated from Hart County High school in 1998. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Western Kentucky University and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College.
I started Bluegrass Professional Counseling in August of 2014 and have owned and operated it since. I have worked at many local mental health agencies in the past and always found them lacking. I created Bluegrass Professional Counseling to be different. I wanted a place where anyone can get help without worrying about being judged and where everyone can feel comfortable and accepted regardless of color, creed, insurance or ability to pay. I feel that we have created such a place and I am extremely proud that my staff has embodied these ideas and made them a reality. Our mission is to help all those in need without exception to the betterment of our community. This is an ideal that we hold dear and will continue to uphold.
